Privacy Policy
WhatsApp Customer Analyzer is a Chrome extension that helps users analyze the currently open WhatsApp Web conversation with the DeepSeek API.
Data Collected
The extension can process the following data:
- Text content from the currently open WhatsApp Web conversation, only after the user clicks the analysis button.
- The user's DeepSeek API key and extension preferences, stored in Chrome extension storage.
How Data Is Used
Conversation text is sent over HTTPS to DeepSeek only when the user explicitly starts an analysis. The data is used to generate the requested customer analysis, including customer profile, intent, concerns, risks, suggested next steps, and reply drafts.
The DeepSeek API key is used only to authenticate the user's requests to DeepSeek.
Data Sharing
The extension transfers conversation text to DeepSeek because this transfer is necessary to provide the user-facing analysis feature. The extension does not sell user data, does not use user data for advertising, and does not transfer user data for personalized or retargeted ads.
Human Access
The developer does not operate a separate server for this extension and does not receive or read WhatsApp conversation content. Conversation content is sent directly from the extension to DeepSeek.
Storage
The DeepSeek API key and preferences are stored in Chrome extension storage on the user's browser profile. Conversation text is not intentionally stored by the extension after the analysis response is shown.
Security
The extension uses HTTPS when communicating with the DeepSeek API.
User Control
Users can remove the stored DeepSeek API key from the extension settings page or uninstall the extension from Chrome at any time.
Limited Use Disclosure
The use of information received from users will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
